Cucamelons are an interesting and tasty crop to grow.  They originate from Mexico where they are known as 'little mouse watermelons' and have a taste which is like cucumber and lime!  The plants are very easy to grow and are tolerant of drought and pests.  They are a climbing plant so have fun building them a frame or wigwam to scramble up!  Go on - grow something different!
